Mentoring towards Professional Registration (in-company course)

We understand the vital role mentors play as the primary source of advice and support for mentees. Guiding engineers and technicians on their path to professional registration is a fulfilling journey for both mentor and mentee.

Having a comprehensive understanding of the resources offered by the IET empowers mentors and mentees to collaboratively navigate through the competencies outlined in the UKSPEC. This enables them to identify development needs and track the mentee's progress effectively.

The key skills of mentoring

  • 1.5-hour online delivery to a minimum of three and a maximum of twenty delegates
  • 3.5-hour face-to-face delivery to a minimum of three and a maximum of twelve delegates

Mentoring towards Professional Registration

  • 2.5-hour online delivery to a minimum of three and a maximum of twenty delegates
  • 3.5-hour face-to-face delivery to a minimum of three and a maximum of twelve delegates

Full-day mentor training – the key skills of mentoring and mentoring towards Professional Registration

  • 7 - hour face-to-face delivery to a minimum of three and a maximum of twelve delegates
