Education and skills policy

Education and skills are crucial for creating the engineers of tomorrow. To plug the gaps in the skills pipeline, intervention is needed at an early age to inspire young people to enter the profession.

We know that there are still skill shortages in key areas.

That is why we ensure that we regularly survey employers to assess skills gaps across the engineering sector, findings of which go directly to policy makers to address the challenges the sector faces.
