Our aim is to encourage:
- a debate about the importance of design in helping society, governments and businesses engineer a better world
- engineers to champion design in their everyday lives whether in the boardroom, factory floor or lecture theatre, reconnecting with their ‘inner design-self’
- company leaders of engineering and technology businesses and enterprises to embed ‘design as strategy’
- all those who teach and study engineering to ensure design is included and given emphasis within vocational and higher education curricula.
