The Local Authorities and Smarter Traffic Management Day was a new, free Conference that focused on hot topics and key projects relating to traffic management. It looked into the main traffic-related challenges including connected vehicles infrastructure, building on key action points for improving our roads and innovations in traffic management.
This was a Department for Transport conference in collaboration with the IET, Innovate UK, ITS-UK, Transport Systems Catapult and the Transport Technology Forum.
Jesse Norman, the Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Transport, provided the keynote speech.
