Bobby shows the incredible ways maths can make sense of the world around us; from outer space to the beauty of art, from fitness to food, and the best way to get things done. You’ll never look at numbers the same way again.
Before becoming a secondary school maths teacher and a doctoral student researching maths anxiety at Cambridge University, Bobby was an investment banking trader and qualified as a Chartered Accountant.
His rise to fame began on University Challenge as captain for Emmanuel College.
Bobby is co-presenter of the podcast Maths Appeal, co-wrote The Monkman & Seagull Quiz, and co-presented a BBC TV series Monkman & Seagull’s Genius Guide to Britain
Bobby is an ambassador for the charity, National Numeracy, a presenter for an Open University course on personal finance for young adults, a regular contributor to Radio Four’s Puzzle For Today, a columnist for the Financial Times Money section and has had articles published in the Telegraph and Huffington Post.
