What to expect
Our online catalogue contains detailed descriptions of the collections held in the IET Archives, including company records, institutional records and personal papers of eminent scientists and engineers. It also includes images from our photograph collection.
Once you’ve found what you need, set up an appointment to visit the Archives Centre and view the material you’ve found. We need one week to recall some material from our off-site facility.

IET Archives moving image collections
We are currently working with London's Screen Archives (LSA) to host our digitised film collection. This is an exciting opportunity to work with LSA - a unique network of over 70 organisations to preserve and share our history on film. The network is managed by Film London and encompasses organisations that hold heritage film collections across London.

As we work with them more moving images will be added to the catalogue for you to view.
