Professional Registration applications will be assessed against the fourth edition of UK-SPEC from 30 September 2021

The revised fourth edition of the UK Standard for Professional Engineering Competence (UK-SPEC) was published by the Engineering Council on 31 August 2020.

As of 30 September 2021, the IET will be assessing all professional registration applications for EngTech, IEng and CEng against the fourth edition of UK-SPEC.
