A message to our members – the ongoing war in Ukraine

The events happening in Ukraine caused by Russia have sent shockwaves around the world. We are deeply saddened by the news and stand in solidarity with our Ukrainian members and its wider engineering community.

As the situation continues, we want you to know that the IET is here to support you during this difficult time.

Foothold, the IET’s benevolent fund, is here to offer support to engineers and their families in Ukraine or for those who have evacuated across Europe.

If you are an engineer anywhere in the world, that has friends or family in Ukraine and/or Russia and you are concerned for their welfare, please reach out to Foothold on the contact details below.

This service is here to offer support to all engineers and their families worldwide, particularly during this humanitarian crisis.
