Implementation of sanctions against Russia

The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) has implemented measures to prohibit the provision of engineering services, IT consultancy and design services to persons connected with Russia, following an announcement to do so, earlier this year.

The Engineering Council has provided information to help engineers and technicians navigate and understand the new guidance.
