IET Members celebrated in the WES Top 50 Women in Engineering for Safety and Security

The top 50 winners have been selected from 100 Highly Commended Finalists.

The judges said the standard of nominations this year was extremely high which is a testament to the difference that women engineers are making to keeping the public safe and secure.

Dr Laura Norton, Head of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion at the IET, said: “It’s so important to celebrate the incredible engineers that are keeping us safe, not only to recognise their achievements but also to shine a light on real life role models for the next generation to encourage greater diversity within engineering. We were delighted to see so many of our members recognised in the top 50 and I’d like to say a huge congratulations to them all.”
