IET celebrates New Year Honours recipients

Congratulations to IET Fellow Sir Martin Read CBE MA D.Phil FIET, Member Dr Jeffery Quaye OBE MIET and Dr Ollie Folayan MBE CEng, a close partner of the IET, who have been recognised in the King’s New Year Honours List.

Sir Martin Read CBE MA D.Phil FIET

The Chairman of Wincanton plc and a member of the Council of Shakespeare's Globe has been awarded a knighthood for services to industry and for public and voluntary service.

Dr Jeffery Quaye OBE MIET

The National Director of Education and Standards for Aspirations Academies Trust has been awarded an OBE for services to education.

Dr Ollie Folayan MBE CEng

Head of Process at Optimus Plus Aberdeen and co-founder of the Association for Black and Minority Ethnic Engineers UK has been awarded an MBE for services to equality, diversity and inclusion in engineering.
