IET Festive Lecture: Engineering the brick

Therefore, we have introduced our first IET Festive Lecture, which will allow students aged 7-11 years as well as LEGO® fans of all ages to hear from LEGO® Education’s very own Steven Mackenzie who will give an interactive talk on the history of the LEGO® Group and what things might be like when we reach the 100-year anniversary.

Teachers can register their primary school classes to take part in building and problem-solving activities*. They will also hear some fun stories from Steven, as well as get the LEGO® insider knowledge.

Though aimed at primary school children, everyone is welcome to take part. Join us on Thursday, 14 December at 1.30pm (GMT) either from the comfort of your home or at IET London: Savoy Place and Futures Place, where you can also watch the IET Festive Lecture: Engineering the brick live stream.

Please share with your children’s schools and teachers, so as many people as possible can join in on the live-streamed fun. You can register to view online here.

*To join in with the interactive element of this event it would be great if you could have access to six 4x2 LEGO® or DUPLO® bricks, however this is not an essential to enjoy the lecture.
