Mentor training (in-company courses)

Having a comprehensive understanding of the resources offered by the IET empowers mentors and mentees to collaboratively navigate through the competencies outlined in the UKSPEC. This enables them to identify development needs and track the mentee's progress effectively.

Whether you're new to mentoring or seeking to enhance your skills and knowledge, our courses are tailored to accommodate all levels of experience. We're here to support you every step of the way in your mentoring journey.

For companies, we have several options available, ranging from on-site sessions at your workplace or preferred location to live interactive online courses. For further information please see the following:

The key skills of mentoring

  • 1.5-hour online delivery to a minimum of three and a maximum of twenty delegates
  • 3.5-hour face-to-face delivery to a minimum of three and a maximum of twelve delegates

Mentoring towards Professional Registration

  • 2.5-hour online delivery to a minimum of three and a maximum of twenty delegates
  • 3.5-hour face-to-face delivery to a minimum of three and a maximum of twelve delegates

Full-day mentor training – the key skills of mentoring and mentoring towards Professional Registration

  • 7 - hour face-to-face delivery to a minimum of three and a maximum of twelve delegates
