Peer review
Your application will be reviewed by trained, experienced, registered Members. The purpose of the review is to ensure you have the required competence and commitment, and whether any further evidence is required. You may be asked to attend an interview so that we can learn more about your day to day work.
The decision
If you’ve been successful, you’ll receive a letter confirming the decision and your next steps. Once you’ve paid all the fees, your details will be submitted to the Engineering Council.
If you’ve been unsuccessful we’ll guide you on what you can do next.
We’re upgrading our systems, and this includes changes to our customer and member account log in, MyIET. It’s part of our big picture plan to deliver a great experience for you and our wider engineering community.
