Join us for the IET Members Annual Information Event, Thursday, 16 June 2022, 2.30pm BST

Join us for this year’s IET Members Annual Information Event and hear from IET Chief Executive and Secretary, Mr Nigel Fine, on our achievements throughout 2021 and from IET President Sir Julian Young, who will talk about the Institution’s plans for the future.

The Members Annual Information Event will be held for the following purposes:

  • to receive the minutes of the previous meeting
  • to receive reports about the Institution from the Chief Executive and Secretary and IET President
  • to receive a report from Council
  • to receive a report from Foothold, The Institution of Engineering and Technology’s Benevolent Fund
  • to receive and consider the Trustees Report and Financial Statements for the year ended 31 December 2021
  • to approve auditors for 2022
  • to give a Vote of Thanks to:
    • the honorary officers and members of all the Institution's Boards and Committees
    • the staff of the Institution.

Members attending in person can register for the event at the venue. Registration and refreshments start at 2pm.

If you are unable to attend in person, the event will also be live-streamed.

Please note, members joining virtually via the live webcast will not be counted towards the quorum.

A Q&A session will be held at the end of the event.

We welcome members to submit questions ahead of the event by emailing them to communications@theiet.org or you can submit questions on the day in person, or via the chat facility.

Copies of the Trustees Report and Financial Statements will be available on our website approximately 14 days prior to the date of the meeting.
