Requisition for an SGM
Bye-law 40 states that a Special General Meeting can be requisitioned by 0.5% of the Honorary Fellows, Fellows or Members of the IET, either for the purpose of revoking or amending the Bye-laws, or for any other purpose relating to the direction and management of the affairs of the IET. The number of members required to sign such a requisition is currently 536 (July 2024).
